Steve Long and Nancy live in Arizona, USA. He was 73 when he was diagnosed in June, 2024. His initial PSA was 12.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 9, and he was staged Unknown. His initial treatment choice was Surgery (Retropubic Prostatectomy + EBRT) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

Initially I was leaning towards radiation as a treatment. However, we were convinced by the surgeon we met with that due to my relative good health and the aggressive nature of the cancer I would be best served by removing it surgically. Also, the distance I would need to travel for daily radiation treatments was significant.
