Please use this wizard to update your story it will take you through the entry process step by step.
After you have read and understand the information on each page use the Next button
to advance to the next page, or the Previous button to go back and review something you have a
question about. During the update process you will learn important information
about sharing your story on the internet, what details are important to include
in your update, and then enter and submit your update using an easy to use form.

| Important Information About Your Story |

Material posted on the Internet is freely accessible to others through Search Engines. It is becoming a frequent practice to 'google' for personal information and you should be aware of this when posting. If this is of concern, you may wish to conceal your name by using a pseudonym or using an initial for your last name instead of your full name. If you do use a pseudonym, please use your imagination - we don't want a dozen John Does or Joe Bloggs on the site! If you have sent in your story previously and want to change your name, please mail us giving your current name and new name. |
| Details To Include In Your Story |
You are welcome to tell your story anyway you wish to, but you may be interested to know that feedback from a poll showed the two areas of maximum interest to visitors are:
1. The reason for choosing the particular treatment you chose or are thinking of choosing.
2. If some time has passed since your diagnosis, the long term effects of your treatment.
There is less interest in how the treatment was carried out or the short term effects. |

How To Include Your Picture |
PICTURES: Some contributors have asked if they can put their pictures on the site - if you want the world to see what you look like, you can send me a picture attached to an e-mail. Just a couple of points:
1. Many people are concerned about privacy issues so be aware your picture could be downloaded off the site. If you are including anyone other than yourself in your picture, please make sure that they are happy with that.
2. Please identify yourself clearly, if and when you send in your shot, by the name you use for your experience story. |

Reminder About Updating Your Story |
|
It is extremely helpful (especially for newly diagnosed men) to see that there are regular and on-going updates to the stories that are posted here. Therefore, we request
that all stories be updated at least once every year.
If you have not updated your story for fifteen months or more, your story will be moved to the inactive part of the site, although you will still be able to
update it using the same e-mail address from your last update. However, your story will not be listed among the Active stories until you provide another update.

Filling out the form on the next page and hitting the SEND button will send the information directly to me. You may find it easy to
use your TAB key to move through the fields.
You can access your current story by using your e-mail address. If you don't remember what e-mail address
you used to submit your story, you can search for your story by clicking here and
then scroll to the bottom of your published story page to see the e-mail address that you used. If your e-mail address
has changed since your last update, you can also specify an updated e-mail address on the next screen.
Your updated story will be posted to the site immediately and you will receive an e-mail confirming this.
There are sometimes problems between our ISP and yours, so if you haven't seen your story re-appear within 12 hours,
please mail us.
