Gary M and Susan live in Texas, USA. He was 63 when he was diagnosed in April, 2022. His initial PSA was 8.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 9, and he was staged Unknown. His initial treatment choice was Surgery (Robotic Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

My wife was diagnosed with a3c cancer in 2016 and then in 2022, I was diagnosed with several Gleason 9 spots on one side. It first started when my doctor said do you need a PSA and I said no. I just had one in the summer of 2021. He said why don't you get one anyway. The results came back a 5 PSA in December 2021. The doctor said make an appointment with a Urologist the soonest I could get one was April. He also said get another PSA in January. When the PSA came back at 7 he said find a doctor that can see you sooner. I still wasn't concerned. Got the appointment by the end of February and got biopsy results by April showing several Gleason 9 samples. I then got a second opinion at M D Anderson Houston. I was referred to Dr. Bryan Chapin one of the top surgeons in the field. Robotic surgery was on May 31st and it went well. Nerve sparing on one side and partial on the other. PSA at 6 months still 0. I still wear a light pad and am using a vacuum. I just started working on my dosage with Trymix.
