Ian Scott lives in England. He was 67 when he was diagnosed in January, 2021. His initial PSA was 64.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 8, and he was staged T3a. His initial treatment choice was ADT-Androgen Deprivation (Hormone) (Other) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

From about July 2020 increasing need to pee. I put it down to age and I am hesitant to go to the Dr (comments that NHS not functioning).

More frequent need to urinate and started taking herbal remedies. Aches & pain I put down to gout.

My daughter insists I go for a test when I get back to the UK (grandfather duties).

20 Jan PSA blood test

22 Jan Doctor calls to say PSA 64

23 Jan DRE indicates enlarged prostate.

9 Feb MRI Scan

24 Feb Biopsy - 4 samples taken from right nodule

4 March Bone Scan

11 March Start 28 days on bicalutamide.

25 March Zolodox implant. Didn't feel a thing and did not discern any side effects.

14 April. Consultants oncologist appointment. Confirms metastatic PC with low volume bone (3: - 2 pelvis with 1 small and 1 right scapula - small). Gleason 4 + 4. Will arrange CT to confirm staging.

Recommended immediate aggressive hormone treatment.

Enzalutamide started 22 April.

Proposed 6 factions of Radiation treatment towards the end of the year.

10 May. After 2.5 weeks enzalutamide, no strong side effects.

21 May PSA 0.33

4 June CT scan. No problem at all apart from finding a vein. The actual procedure lasted less than 5 minutes. !

17 June 2nd. Zolodox injection. Blood tests show all normal but PSA not provided.

June blood test PSA 0.16 Testostorone <0.05

July blood test PSA 0.11 Testostorone <0.05

August blood test PSA not given Testostorone <0.05

September 1. Oncologist to define radiation treatment.
