After my 4.5 PSA to avoid biopsy I had a PCA3 test which was 198. That convinced me there was cancer. I proceeded with various diet, exercise, supplement approaches and had a PSA every 3 months until my PSA reached 7.2. I then had a biopsy with a Gleason score 6 at T1c. I also had a polaris test which showed an intermediate stage of somewhat higher than normal aggressiveness. I am seriously considering Trans urethral Hyperthermia in Germany after looking at other alternatives including surgery.
But, I haven't gone yet and am still weighing information which is why I'm writing this.
In June, since I had a gradual increased PSA, decided to return to Klinik Marinus in Germany for hormone therapy and another transurethral hyperthermia. The effects of the androgen inhibitor were for about six weeks, hyper sensitivities, night sweats, irregular sleep which subsided, then are now gone.
In July my PSA measured 5.7 down from 10.5. I haven't been able to see my urologist but will this month, October 2017, for another PSA and his suggested follow up tests.
I'm taking an array of polyphenols, other anti-oxidents, anti-inflammatories and general cellular maintenance supplements with a plant centered diet and little meat with exercise.
There's no symptoms and plan on another MRI if that's approved by my insurance.
Restriction may occur occasionally in a slight manner after ejaculation or difficult physical activity.
This stage took 6 months to reach, currently 8 months since the treatment.
Prostate shrinkage after almost two years after treatment significant drop in PSA from 15 at treatment to 0.3 currently.
