William A lives in England. He was 65 when he was diagnosed in May, 2008. His initial PSA was 95.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 9, and he was staged T3b. His choice of treatment was ADT-Androgen Deprivation (Hormone) (Other). Here is his story.
Diagnosed May 2008. PSA 95 gleason 9. treatment Zoladex and cyproterone. Have done really well up till now.
After 8 years with my PSA rising slowly, on average doubling every 13 months, I have just found out that my cancer has spread to my pelvic bone. I am starting Xtandi on Tuesday May 10, 2016. Can anyone give me any survival rates on this drug please. Have read bit of info on the trial. I am getting funding from NHS, so very lucky as I believe it costs over £3000 or more per month.
